Explore a unique kingdom in the underworld
Deep beneath the decaying town of Dirtmouth lies Hallownest, a once glamorous civilization now in ruins. Adventurers and thieves are equally drawn to this underworld in search of fame, wealth and answers to ancient mysteries. However, the dilapidated halls are now haunted by vile creatures and bizarre beasts that have been corrupted by a poison in the earth.

Travel as the title hero Hollow Knight deep into the interior of a vast labyrinth of caves, corridors and destroyed cities that together form an eerie kingdom. Under the ground there are cities and settlements where there are a lot of strange and at the same time fascinating characters. Make your own way through the underworld, explore every corner and every nook and cranny, and imagine the evil creatures guarding puzzles and treasures.

Fight wild adversaries
If you want to delve deeper into the darkness, you should arm yourself against hordes of dark enemies! Escape nimble enemy attacks, soft projectiles, jump off walls to catapult you up, and then attack with your sword and powerful abilities.

Defeated enemies leave Geo - fossils that can be exchanged for new items and abbreviations - and release a mystical energy that gives new power to your damaged body or can be transformed into new abilities. If you are defeated in battle, only a shadow of your self will be left in your place - find it and defeat it to take your riches back to you!

Chewing Characters
If the caving is tired, you can return to the surface and buy Geo Items in the weird town of Dirtmouth or engage the hooded city dwellers in a conversation.

Old relics - so-called charms - can be found in long-forgotten chambers or in the possession of whimsical inhabitants you meet on the way. Find the charms and use them to gain useful skills! Whether it's summoning battle-ready insects or getting more geo from defeated enemies, charms can do almost anything!
