Introducing Regrind¹, a process in which old components from the Xbox One generation are mechanically reconditioned. The result is a raw material that can be partially used to manufacture new controllers without compromising durability and performance. PCR (post-consumer recycling) resins are made from recycled materials such as car headlight covers, plastic bottles, and CDs. By mixing PCR resins with granules from previously colored parts, individual, earthy colors are created with subtle variations, swirls, drawings and textures that are first used for Xbox, giving each Remix Special Edition controller a unique look and feel.
