Assassin's Creed 3

The new title promises to be the biggest and most ambitious in the company's history

Assassin's Creed 3 will be released on October 31, 2012, giving players the opportunity to experience the American Revolutionary War in a way that no history book describes it. The largest project in Ubisoft's history also presents a new hero.

With a development time of more than three years and a double production capacity compared to previous Ubisoft games, Assassin's Creed 3 is being developed for Microsoft's Xbox 360 Video Game and Entertainment System, PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainment System, Windows PC and Nintendo's Wii U. Assassin's Creed 3 is developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with six other Ubisoft studios.

Against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin's Creed 3 presents a new hero: Ratohnhaké:ton, who is partly of Native American, partly Of English descent. He calls himself Connor and becomes the new voice of justice in the ancient war between assassins and Templars. The player becomes an assassin in the war for freedom and against tyranny in the most elaborate and fluid combat experience in the series. Assassin's Creed III encompasses the American Revolution and takes the player on a journey through the vibrant, untamed borderland, past bustling colonial cities, to the fiercely contested and chaotic battlefields where George Washington's Continental Army clashed with the impressive British Army.

Assassin's Creed 3 is equipped with Ubisoft-AnvilNext, a revolutionary new game engine that represents a breakthrough in optical quality, character models and artificial intelligence. Assassin's Creed 3 will bring colonial America to life thanks to groundbreaking graphics.
