On the island where the Yoshis live, one day a talking encyclopedia named Enzo suddenly falls from the sky! On the pages of his book there are all kinds of peculiar creatures to discover. To learn more about her, Yoshi dives into Enzo's pages...

During his explorations, Yoshi can eat the creatures, jump on them, or even piggyback them. Using his abilities, Yoshi explores all kinds of quirks of the creatures that cavort on Enzo's pages. Some make flowers bloom, others create bubbles – and with each new discovery, paths open up to new areas where there is much more to discover!

• A Remarkable Book -  One day, a book - named Enzo, by the way - falls from the sky and lands on the island where the Yoshis live! Enzo's pages are full of creatures to discover - and so he invites the Yoshis to dive into his pages and learn everything about the beings!
• Curious Creatures - Dozens of creatures - large and small - cavort on Enzo's pages and want to be explored. Some creatures produce grain, others create bubbles that Yoshi can use to float around, and others even sing when he bounces around on them! Each discovery can open up new paths to new exploration... and thus to further discoveries! Once you've researched your first creature, it's time to give it a name. Adopt Enzo's suggestion or come up with something completely new - you decide!
• Unique Actions - To achieve in-depth research, Yoshi can hop on creatures, carry them on his back, or even swallow them to find out what they taste like - and he can do so much more! Make good use of Yoshi's abilities and find out all sorts of things about the creatures, including how they interact with the environment in which they were found.
• Chapters and Journeys - Each of Enzo's chapters features fascinating new locations for Yoshi to explore. Tree-filled areas, windswept mountains, sunny beaches and insect-infested jungles - each area offers unique habitats for Yoshi's research objects.
