Bring life to your island

You create the Mii characters that inhabit the island. You can take a wide variety of people as a role model: your family and friends, people you admire – or you can come up with your own character! You can customize your Mii characters in a variety of ways, including their personality traits, quirks, and appearance. For this, you'll even have facial elements at your disposal that are unique to this game.

If you prefer not to choose every detail yourself, you can also simply answer a list of questions to create Mii characters. Help them discover their likes and dislikes, build relationships, and have tons of fun in their crazy everyday lives. Your Mii characters take on a life of their own and will surprise you many times!

Cultivating the community

When you grab Mii characters and place them next to each other, they spend time together. You can watch your characters make surprising friendships, argue with each other, fall in love (and fall apart) on the fly, and so much more.

The more you take care of your Mii characters, the better you'll get to know them. Give them food, outfits, gifts, and most importantly, always be there to help them as they navigate the ups and downs of island life. You can even teach them words and phrases that they'll add to their vocabulary!

Design the environment

You can expand and redesign the island as you please. Place houses, shops, restaurants, and other meeting places where your islanders can pass the time. Do you want your characters to feel extra comfortable? Redesign their rooms and choose the décor, wallpaper and floor that suits them.

Crafting enthusiasts can also make self-made items in the workshop. There, you can design everything from unique house facades and flooring to pets, food, clothing, and more. Your Mii characters are sure to be delighted with all your creations!
