The Kim family has reached the bottom: Father, mother, son and daughter live in a greenish-dim basement and are not too good for any temporary job. It is only when the youngest takes up a job as a tutor in the Park family's swanky villa that the Kims enter the carousel of class struggles. With resourceful trickery, remarkable talent and great team spirit, they succeed in gradually getting rid of the previous servants of the Park family. Soon the Kims are indispensable for their new masters. But then an unexpected incident triggers a chain of events that are as unpredictable as they are inconceivable. (1 Blu-ray)

PARASITE was awarded an Oscar® in the categories Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best International Film. For the first time in the history of the Academy Awards, a non-English-language film won the Oscar® for Best Picture. He was already awarded the Palme d'Or in competition at the Cannes International Film Festival and keeps what all these honors promise: great cinema with the greatest possible excitement. The celebrated Korean director Bong Joon Ho delivered a sharp satire with a lot of wicked humor and a desire for the radical escalation of circumstances.
