I Hate This Place is an isometric survival horror game with crafting elements where you immerse yourself in a cursed land full of nightmares and terrifying shadow creatures.

If you want to survive here, you have to plunder, build, sneak around and fight.

A world full of dangers awaits you. Search every nook and cranny of Rutherford Ranch and explore gloomy forests, a ruined city, or contaminated bunkers to survive. Gather vital resources, craft equipment, upgrade your camp, and turn dilapidated bases into safe havens.

A dynamic day-night cycle affects your world. Use the daylight to explore the environment, search for and craft items, and prepare for what's ahead. Because when night falls, true nightmares come to life. The enemies become more numerous, stronger and more aggressive. Only the light of your flashlight illuminates the darkness, which makes it much harder to find your way around. Sometimes your only hope is a shelter where you can hide until morning.

Many of the strange creatures at Rutherford Ranch rely entirely on their hearing to hunt you down. With brute force you often only dig your own grave. Use sounds to your advantage, lure creatures away from you or direct them directly into your deadly traps.

Inspired by the award-winning comic book series by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, I Hate This Place brings the story to life with bold colors, a signature retro comic book style, and plenty of '80s charm.
