Fitness Boxing for Nintendo Switch offers a workout for every day - wherever you want
Down from the sofa, into the sporting pleasure, it is from December 21 for all Nintendo Switch fans. Exclusively for their console, Fitness Boxing will be released in stores and in the Nintendo eShop on this day. In the new sports game, they complete a workout, learn boxing movements and listen to the instrumental versions of popular hits. You can get into the practice ring at home or on the go - and even invite a sparring partner to join in.
The only training equipment you need are the Nintendo Switch and the two associated controllers. The players take a Joy-Con in each hand, hit right and left hooks, dodge, take cover, do squats and keep the whole body constantly in motion. The motion sensors of the Joy-Con register all this exactly.
Fitness Boxing allows daily training sessions of between 10 and 40 minutes, depending on your wishes in low or high intensity. Based on the approximate body mass index (BMI), the game software calculates how many calories you consume during training. To increase the fun, the players can choose their own coach from a whole group. In addition, they can equip their instructors according to their mood - with outfits that they unlock in the course of training. Additional songs and training challenges are also waiting for the sports fans the further they progress in fitness boxing.
On top of that, in the two-player mode, everyone can choose a friend or family member as a sparring partner. Both hold a Joy-Con and can fight either with or against each other in the virtual boxing ring. And because Nintendo Switch is a mobile TV console, it allows you to train both in TV mode at home and in table mode on the go.
The gong for the first round of Fitness Boxing will sound on December 21, just in time for Christmas. The whole family can take part in the cheerful workout under the Christmas tree - and immediately work off the calories they have eaten over the holidays.
