German shepherd Charlie has just escaped from the dog prison when the sneaky bulldog Carface has him killed. But Charlie is not so easy to deport to heaven. Driven by thoughts of revenge, he steals his life clock and returns to Earth. There, Carface has become very wealthy with the help of the little orphan Anne-Marie, because she can talk to animals.
