Blue blood in the Wild West. The young Briton Joe (Terence Hill) receives the order from his dying father to finally be trained to become a real man by his crook friends Bull, Preacher and Monkey. After Joe meets his rough-and-tumble mentors-to-be during a robbery of his carriage, the apprenticeship does not seem to be under a good star. It is only when he falls in love with the beautiful Candida that the smart Englishman begins to discover completely new sides of himself. (1 Blu-ray)
Washed with all the waters of the genre, director E. B. Clucher (FOUR FISTS FOR A HALLELUJAH) skilfully plays with the contrast between the ephemeral pioneer era and the looming 20th century in this snappy spaghetti western. Perfectly embodied by Terence Hill, who prefers to rely on the good old bike instead of a horse and as a charming Englishman can prove that he is one of the most quick-witted actors of all time, not only together with Bud Spencer.
