New game, new rivalry
TEKKEN 8 continues the tragic saga of the Mishima and Kazama bloodlines and their earth-shattering father-son rift battles. In this latest chapter, Jin Kazama will try to defy his fate by facing his father Kazuya Mishima and causing war and destruction all over the world. In addition to the main storyline, which is made up of Hollywood-style cutscenes and over-the-top fights, separate character episodes offer further insights into the individual stories of the individual characters.

Exciting New Gameplay
TEKKEN 8 will feature exciting new gameplay that focuses on "aggressive" tactics. The series' unique fighting game identity is maintained, providing both players and viewers with the series' most exciting experience to date, with visceral attacks and environments that are both dynamic and destructible. The latest installment in the series introduces an all-new game mechanic called "Heat System," which allows players to use aggressiveness as a tactic and incorporate offensive attacks into their playstyle, with special moves and character abilities based on each character's unique traits. Pillars such as "Rage Arts" and the series' signature moves and combos also return in TEKKEN 8.

Arcade Quest
In the new single-player mode 'Arcade Quest', players can create their own avatar and defeat their rivals in a variety of different arcades. This mode serves as an introduction to the gameplay of TEKKEN 8 and allows players to gain basic knowledge, learn practical techniques, and experience a unique story and combat that is different from the normal battles.

Built for personalization
With a variety of customization options for playable characters, avatars, HUD elements, and music, players can customize their experience to their personal preferences. Playable character customization options are freer than ever. Avatar customization is a new element introduced in TEKKEN 8. Avatars can be customized and used in modes such as Arcade Quest.
