An adventure journey into the secret world of the smartphone. Textopolis is a bustling city where all emojis reside. In this world, all emojis have only one facial expression - except Gene (T.J. Miller), who literally bursts with facial expressions. Determined to become as "normal" as all the other emojis, he enlists the help of his best friend Hi-5 (James Corden) and the infamous code-breaker emoji Jailbreak (Anna Faris).
