The setting of Cronos: The New Dawn is a dark world where Eastern European brutalism and retro-futuristic technology meet. You can expect a captivating story in which the past and future are intertwined. In the past, you experience the world wrestling with change, a devastating event that would change humanity forever. In the devastated wasteland of the future, a non-stop fight for survival awaits you against dangerous fiends that will test both your reflexes and your tactical skills. You are a traveler and on behalf of the enigmatic collective, you roam the wasteland of the future in search of cracks in time through which you can travel to 1980s Poland.

LEARN OR DIE
In a devastated world full of danger, your survival depends on your ability to plan ahead and be tactical. The enemies you encounter are nightmarish beings that have emerged from the remnants of humanity. To defeat them, you'll have to exhaust your entire arsenal. You can manipulate time anomalies to make your way through the dreary world, while keeping an eye out for resources as your ammo and supplies are limited. Good preparation is essential. In battle, a single decision can be the difference between life and death.

DON'T LET THEM MERGE
The creatures you kill don't stay dead for long. Other creatures can ingest the carcasses of the creatures, making them faster, tougher, and much more dangerous. A grotesque process called "fusion". There is only one way to prevent this. Burn the carcasses – fast. If you do not do this, you will find yourself facing stronger and stronger monsters who will demand everything from you in battle.

COLLECTING SOULS
Your mission is to find important people in the past who died in the apocalypse. With your almighty tool, you can drain their essence and travel with them into the future. But beware, these essences influence your journey in a lasting way. The more you wear, the more they take possession of your suit: while you gain strength in battle, you are also increasingly plagued by their whispers and mirages, which saps your wits.
