In 1941, Hitler's fighting machine seemed unstoppable. To support the Eastern Front against Germany, the Allies supplied provisions and weapons. From Iceland, an international convoy of civilian merchant ships starts its high-risk journey to Murmansk. When suddenly the order comes to disperse the convoy, only the Norwegian captain Skar decides to continue his journey without an escort. In hostile waters, the journey becomes an ascension commando. The Norwegians' descent into hell is reminiscent of the legendary war film classic DAS BOOT: In the face of the overpowering enemy, fear and tension characterize the mood on board. Director Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken (MUNCH) masterfully manages to increase the tension to the point of being unbearable - the scene in which the ship gets stuck in a sea minefield is pure thrill. At the International Film Festival in Rotterdam, the opulently illustrated thriller based on historical events with KON-TIKI stars Tobias Santelmann and Anders Baasmo received top marks from the enthusiastic audience.
