Pokémon GO Plus

If the player isn't looking at the screen, a small device called Pokémon GO Plus will still let them continue to play.

The device can connect to the smartphone via Bluetooth and uses LED and vibration signals to keep the player up to date on certain in-game events, such as when a Pokémon is nearby. In addition, pressing a button on the device can capture Pokémon or perform other simple actions.

A special app update for Pokémon GO Plus is required to work with Niantic Inc.'s Pokémon GO app (planned for 2016). In addition, a compatible smartphone is required.

Important notes:

• Since July 2016, work has been underway to make Pokémon GO Plus compatible with smartphones that use Android operating systems.
• Pokémon GO Plus cannot be used individually.
• This accessory requires a compatible smartphone and the Pokémon GO app.

• iPhone 5/5c/5s/SE/6/6s/6 Plus/6s Plus and iOS 8-9 operating systems.
