Our story begins when Ryu Hayabusa travels to America to pursue his father's wish. While he is gone, the barrier between the world of humans and that of the demons suddenly breaks down and a fearsome army invades the village of Hayabusa. In Ryu's absence, it now faces an unprecedented threat.

To fend off this new threat, Kenji Mozu, a young ninja from Hayabusa Village, must rise to the challenge! As Ryu's student, he fights relentlessly, but soon finds himself in a desperate situation. Forced to wield a forbidden power, he must set aside centuries of enmity to form an alliance with the sinister Black Spider Clan - convinced that their souls and talents are the only way to save the world from the power of the Demon Lord!
