EA SPORTS™ NHL 25 is based on ICE-Q, a new gameplay intelligence system that lets you control every inch of the court.

With Vision Control, you can occupy the blue line, attack the puck without losing sight of the goal, and more. The improved AI overhauls Chel's CPU pro system and allows for more authentic plays with an updated playbook that optimizes power plays and improves positional and offensive play. Reactive Actions uses a number of new animations to help outfield players react better in critical situations by increasing offensive pressure, collision avoidance, and reliability. ICE-Q is true ice hockey intelligence.

The revamped Franchise Mode provides a new structure for WOC Live events with the HUT Wildcard mode, and the simplified XP progression for all HUT modes takes Chel's game modes to a new level. And the presentation is also upping the ante. The all-new Grudge Match system chronicles the competitive history of teams across all major online and offline modes, and introduces special X-Factors granted in previous matches against rival teams.
