The world of Luxendarc is plunged into chaos when a great abyss tears the earth apart.

The four elemental crystals that bring light to the world are consumed by darkness, and this has brought disaster to the world.

The game begins with a young man named Tiz, whose life is torn apart when his village is swallowed by the rift. It doesn't take long for him to meet Agnès, a vestal virgin who has dedicated her life to caring for the crystals.

Together, they embark on a journey to close the gap and free the crystals... without being aware of the true meaning of their goal.
